Why we focus on growing employers

SMB benefits don't have to feel like a compromise.

Rising healthcare costs. Limited plan flexibility. HR teams stretched thin. We built Bespoke to give small and growing employers the strategy, structure, and support that used to be reserved for enterprise.

The core challenge

Rising premiums, limited plan flexibility, and thin internal HR bandwidth — with traditional ACA options that often aren't sustainable.

The new playbook

Level-funded plans, ICHRA, captives, and smarter plan design open real doors for cost control and richer coverage — if you know how to evaluate them.

Our all-inclusive model

Strategy, plan placement, and ongoing operational support in one team. We augment your HR capabilities and scale with you as you grow.

Our service model

Three services. One team. A complete benefits operation.

A one-stop-shop, all-inclusive experience across employee benefits and people operations — so your HR team can focus on people, not paperwork.

FAQ

Questions we hear a lot.

What size of employer do you typically work with?

We're built for small and mid-sized US employers. Most of our clients are growing companies that have outgrown a PEO or need more strategic support than their current broker provides.

Can you help us evaluate level-funded plans or ICHRA?

Yes. We routinely model fully insured vs. level-funded options and run ICHRA feasibility analyses — including employer classification, contribution modeling, and cost forecasting — so you can compare on real numbers, not theory.

What's the difference between Brokerage, Consulting, and Managed Services?

Brokerage is placement and renewal. Consulting is strategy, financial analysis, benchmarking, and advisory work — independent of placement. Managed Services is the day-to-day: HRIS administration, employee support, COBRA, Section 125, ACA tracking, and vendor coordination. Many clients use all three; some only need one or two.

Do you handle employee questions and claims issues?

If you're on Managed Services, yes — our team is Tier 1–2 benefits support for your employees. We answer questions, help with claims, interpret EOBs, and resolve eligibility and coverage timing issues so your HR team isn't the help desk.

Can you take over from our current broker mid-year?

Yes. We can transition broker of record on existing policies without disrupting coverage and then re-market at your next renewal. We'll also audit your current setup for compliance gaps and quick wins along the way.

How does an initial consultation work?

A 30-minute call to understand your team, your current plan, and what's working or not. No prep needed. You'll leave with a clear next step — whether or not it involves working with us.
